We were delighted to support client David Wilson Homes recently as they welcomed the newly-appointed Secretary of State for Housing, Rt Hon Robert Jenrick MP, to visit new homes at Castle Hill in Ebbsfleet Garden City. As he throws himself into his new role, the Secretary of State was keen to see high quality new homes and communities built for future generations and was impressed with what he saw at Castle Hill.

On the day, we managed relations between the new Secretary of State for Housing and David Wilson Homes, and dealt with press relations following the visit.

Mr Jenrick’s visit was an opportunity for the new Secretary of State to meet some of David Wilson Homes’ apprentices and key members of the site team, including award winning Project Manager Altin Murataj, who recently won a coveted NHBC Pride in the Job Award recognising quality workmanship.

Paul Kitchingman, MD for David Wilson Homes Kent, said: “It was a pleasure to welcome the new Secretary of State to our Castle Hill development in Ebbsfleet as he setles into his new role. During the visit, we were able to demonstrate our commitment to creating new communities, delivering high quality homes and leading the industry in customer service.  It was also great to introduce the Secretary of State to our award-winning team on site and the apprentices who will be the future of the industry.”

The visit also coincides with the housebuilder’s recent celebration of its five-star status award in the Home Builders Federation (HBF) annual customer survey. David Wilson Homes (as part of Barratt Developments) secured the highest possible customer rating and is the only major national housebuilder to be rated as five-star for ten years in a row.
